With over a decade of architectural and structural experience in California and seven years
of design practice in Iran, Jasmin Shamszadeh creates spaces where innovation,
structure, and human experience intersect. Her work spans multifamily residences,
affordable housing, commercial, and mixed-use developments-each shaped by a
thoughtful sensitivity to context, materiality, and light.
At Metropolis Architecture, Jasmin leads design development with both technical
precision and creative depth. She ensures full compliance with building codes while
coordinating closely with engineers, contractors, and consultants to transform conceptual
vision into tangible, buildable form. Her mentorship of junior designers reflects her
commitment to collaboration, clarity, and disciplined execution across every phase of the
design process.
Technically adept in Revit, Rhino, and AutoCAD, Jasmin unites conceptual exploration
with structural rigor, bringing harmony between design intent and technical delivery. Her
fluency in permitting within Los Angeles and neighboring jurisdictions streamlines
project approvals and execution. Holding a Master of Architecture from Shahid Beheshti
University and a Bachelor’s degree from the Tehran University of Art, Jasmin bridges
cultures and design philosophies-merging Persian craftsmanship with California
modernism in an expression that is both refined and human.
